FOUNTAINHEAD

 

John 4:13-14

 

Eternal Father,

My faith in you is not so steadfast; divers courses oft beguile.

When Egypt flaunts its glory, its learned gush forth their wisdom,

be ever nearby, for then I thirst.

Steadfast Father,

Guide me back always, to that Wellspring of Truth.

Counsel me; O that I might drink deeply at that Fount.

Ever succor my faith there, thou Fountainhead of Truth.
