Head and hands and heart and soul… This earthly body, thou hast given, hast lovingly formed for me, in humble service take, I fully offer it up to thee. Lo, days gone by, foolishly I called it my own, in idolatrous abandon, misusing these limbs thou hadst sown. Thou savest me, even healing, blessed Counselor

Cave so dark, lifeless stones so cold, Ha! Just try our eternal God to hold!   Blessed life, dost now, impart to me, eternal God, forever, I abide in thee.   Praised be your Name eternal savior God…

In a dark time when my soul doth despair, ever by my side, my Lord thou art there.   Little ones, mouth agape, too pleased, O so pleased, me to devour, thou dost check, thou dost restrain, thou dost this my Lord, my Strong Tower.   In a dark time when my soul doth despair,

Eternal Father, My faith in you is not so steadfast, divers courses oft beguile. When Egypt flaunts its glory, when its learned gush forth their wisdom, be ever nearby, for then I thirst. Steadfast Father, Guide me back always, to that Wellspring of Truth. Counsel me; O that I might drink deeply at that Fount.

O but from my heart to thine, these mundane words of mine.   Receive them my Lord, may your heart be glad, this little psalm’s from my heart, an outpouring it had.   You have placed in my heart, to you a passion to write, I shall thus ever compose, for your heart’s delight.  

O thank You, great savior God, for the cinnamon, delicious— to taste and enjoy.   O thank You, great savior God, for the sunrise, majestic— to see a blessed new day.   O thank You, great savior God, for the music, harmonious— to hear a flight for the soul.   O thank You, great savior

Timeless Worker, great and grand, breath of God, his strong right hand.   How oft have I slighted and grieved you, One so dear, working to save me, and teach me holy fear.   I was formless and void, when first you hovered over my face, with designs for a holy purpose, chiseled in mercy
