LIFE IS HE

 

 

You are life; you have life within yourself. You composed, set in place, the code that governs all life, that effuses from you. The keys of life, and death, are in your hands; we are known by you before the womb, after the grave. You number our days; withal, you whisper into our ears our course, the course to find you great giver of Life. You watch over our steps, you consider us with compassion, untold mercy, you turn us not over to our moribund ways. You keep your hand hard upon us great savior God. Yea, you shine your face upon us, and we live, evermore with you.
