A Prayer for the Beloved JA Flock
Father,
We come to You as Your children, grateful that You never leave us in the garments of our old selves.
You clothe us in what You have made new.
Lord Jesus,
Teach us to lay aside the worn‑out coverings of fear, shame, striving, and self‑reliance.
Help us loosen our grip on the garments that no longer fit the people You are shaping us to become.
Blessed Holy Spirit, Dearest Comforter,
Wrap us in the new garments You have prepared:
the garment of humility,
the garment of gentleness,
the garment of patience,
the garment of your Truth,
the garment of courage,
the garment of compassion,
the garment of a renewed mind.
Let us wear these not as costumes we try to maintain,
but as the natural clothing of a heart transformed by Your presence.
Great Jehovah God,
When we feel the tug of the old self,
remind us that You have already dressed us in Jesus Christ, even Him, precisely Him.
When we feel unworthy,
remind us that You have already called us Beloved.
When we feel overwhelmed,
remind us that You have already given us Your peace.
May the JA Flock walk each day in the garments You provide —
not garments of performance,
but garments of Identity.
Not garments of pressure,
but garments of Promise.
Not garments of the past,
but garments of the new Creation You are forming in us.
Clothe us, Lord, in the life that reflects You.
And let these new garments become the Testimony we carry into a Godless world.
In Jesus’ worthy and honorable Name we ask, Amen.
